She was an NPC before that so it was a welcome surprise for the community.Īzaka Gold farming is a common technique used in the idle champions community when you feel as though you’ve hit your wall. This was the teaser image for Azaka being announced as a champion. It's a very important currency, so if you want to know the best way to get it, let me show you.
IDLE CHAMPIONS OF THE FORGOTTEN REALMS FORMATIONS UPGRADE
If it gets to where you're trying to outlast some tough enemies and you can afford the level costs on Arkhan, you could put Arkhan into Jarlaxle's spot.In Idle Champions gold is everything, it's how you upgrade your character. Later on you might find that Jamilah can be a stronger option and she'll become a better main DPS and you'll use Hitch as a buffer for her.

Minsc and Hitch will probably be good choices early on, most likely with Hitch as the main DPS (it helps that he affects himself with his charisma buff) and Minsc just in it to occasionally debuff some enemies.
IDLE CHAMPIONS OF THE FORGOTTEN REALMS FORMATIONS PLUS
Either way, you'd have your choice of main DPSer in a spot in the center column, plus one more spot to fill.

Or maybe Tyril is a stronger buffer than Makos? I forget. Middle column: Bruenor, *your choice*, *your choice* So for the "Grand Tour" campaign's diamond formation (which is 1 spot in the back column (leftmost column), then 2 spots, then 3 spots, then 2 spots, and then 1 spot in the front column) a formation with only the original roster might look something like: (This is of very limited usefulness though.) Note that Minsc can take on a secondary role as a debuffer, weakening enemies of a specific type. His buff only targets characters if they have 13 or more points in charisma, although of the DPS options in the original set of characters that only means that he doesn't buff Minsc. Note that Hitch can also stand in as a buffer. Technically Bruenor has a DPS spec as well, but even the more experimental players seem to avoid trying to make that work.) But, some players have tried to get creative and set up oddball choices like Makos as main DPS or Asharra as main DPS. And 4 of them are human, so that tends to make the choice for Asharra's spec easy. (Those 5 are the ones intended to be main DPS options, anyway. Keep an eye on how well you're getting each of them geared up to judge who might be your strongest option. but him being in the 12th seat means that you need quite a bit of favor before you can even consider trying to use him because he's so expensive to recruit / so expensive to level up. There's also Arkhan, who can spec into tanking or DPS. Options for your main DPS can be Minsc or Delina or Hitch or Jamilah, although most players ignore Delina (and would still ignore her even if Hitch wasn't a swap in her seat). Jarlaxle can be a nice extra to add to a formation if you want some bonus gold find. Asharra is good because she can provide buffs from anywhere (be sure to select a specialization that matches the race of your main DPSer). Options to consider cramming into a corner at the edge of the formation are Makos (he buffs everybody who is NOT adjacent to him) and Tyril (he buffs everybody, but the buff is weakened based on the number of characters who are adjacent to him). Without any other characters unlocked, the core of this concept is going to rely on sandwiching your choice of main DPS in between Calliope (she buffs everybody who is placed in the column in front of her), Bruenor (he buffs everybody who is placed in the same column as him), Celeste (she buffs everybody who is placed adjacent to her), and Nayeli (she buffs everybody who is placed in the column behind her). The way the developer (Codename) set up both this game and their previous game (Crusaders of the Lost Idols), the setup for most formations is typically going to be about focusing your efforts around one main DPSer with everybody else providing some sort of buff to help that one character. The original 12 characters (13 if you sign up for the email newletter to get Hitch) don't really leave a lot of options for variation in the 9 or 10 spots that need to be filled in each formation.
